This is Jane's card.  It is a really fun card also!  I love how she used printed paper for the flowers and that the pink and yellow flower have white embossing in the middle.  The pot is dry embossed.  What a fun way to attach a sentiment!  rick-rack . . . . . oh so fun!

This is for the sketch challenge. The polka dots are dry embossed with the cuttlebug, and the tag is punched with a cuttlebug die cut. Cute, egh?

Another split coast stampers challenge. It was a color challenge, the colors were Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip, and Pretty in Pink. My dogwood tree out front is blooming and looks somewhat like this pink tree :) The background is embossed with the cuttlebug, and the tag was a cuttlebug die cut also.

Flap Cards

On split coast stampers there was a challenge to make "flap cards." I kind of went crazy and made a few of them. This one says "so very sweet."

You can see how the flap works on this one. They used magnets to keep the flap closed. I don't have magnets so I just cut a slit that the flap could attach to and stay down. Works really well.
On all the cards I used my new cuttlebug to dry emoboss the cards!! The embossing is so pretty it could just be all of the design in my opinion.
Inside this one says "Life is a picnic, eat hearty" The bugs belly is raised with crystal effects, a stampin up product.

This one I made using the cuttlebug also for the background dry embossing. My son had a birthday party and I looked through my cards and didn't have hardly anything "boy" appropriate. This was my attempt at a "boy" card. When my son came in the room, he said, "finally a boy card." Whew!!! I thought the red scallops might be too girly.

This was for a color challenge on splitcoast stampers. They tell you the colors and you create. I just got a cuttlebug and the embossed frame and tag were done with it.

It's been coooooooold outside, and so I've been staying inside where it is nice and warm and have created some new cards. The black printing above is heat embossed with versa mark and black embossing powder and the flowers are colored in with the water color wonder crayons from stampin up. There is some dry embossing next to the flowers done with the bone folder . . .but it is hard to see. I'm now realizing since I put all these cards on one post, my labels aren't going to work right!! sorry. A baby card. WOW! those brads are NOT green. My scanner changed their pretty pink color to green! The babies above are heat embossed using versa mark and white embossing powder. You can see the dry embossing better in this picture in the yellow card stock. It was done with a bone folder in the crease of the paper cutter I have. Background is also versa mark. I use versa mark more than any other ink.
Oooooo, aren't these colors pretty? The background is "baroque" and it is stamped with versa mark. The stitching if faux stitching, and the butterfly is stamped first with colored ink, then with versa mark and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
It has been so cold outside that I felt like doing a breezy cold card. I couldn't get in the mood too much as you can tell by the prior cards. I have a hard time with the winter theme. I had some photo paper sitting on my craft table and decided to try it out for stamping. The "beany hat" above is stamped on it, so it is glossy. The ink dried really fast! It surprised me. The background is stamped with versa mark and I had to add "warmest wishes" to this cold card.

This card looks much better in person.

The hearts are stickers and dry embossed "love."
