Since becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I have gotten a lot of new stamps. I've been itching to try them! While waiting for this next snow storm to come through I decided to dabble a little with my new stuff. I'm a little disgusted with my scanner (cards just don't look as nice as they do in person) so I thought I'd take pictures with the camera and post them . . . BUT . . . I'm going to have to learn how to take good pictures, because the REAL color below is a nice vibrant pink color. . . . (If any of you have tips to take better pictures, let me know!) Oh well! I still like the outcome . . . .
The hearts on the tree "pop-up" . . . . I've had this set a while . . . . but the punched border is new!
Fun!!!

February Card Club
This month I demonstrated the "faux metal" technic. Click the link for instructions. I don't really like how this scanned . . . but OH WELL! This is a fun technic to play around with! The trees below use this technic with silver and clear embossing powder.
Another "faux metal" card I made. . . . .
Another "faux metal" card I made. . . . .
The theme for the exchange this month was "circles."
Here is my card. It is a gift card holder. (masculine!) You can see the "faux metal" for the pom pom on top of the beeny hat.
Here is another beeny hat gift card holder that I made.
Flipped open with the gift card in it . . . . .
